What does your membership support?

Membership allows us to continue to grow. Your generous gift, along with the contributions of others, helps us to keep educational and public programming costs affordable. Penumbra relies on support to maintain and expand its operational needs, develop education and outreach programs, and photographic arts initiatives.

As a member of the Penumbra Foundation you will receive numerous benefits as outlined below. Your membership plays an essential role in the success of our mission. Your membership and contributions will help us to sustain the future of our organization, which is dedicated to preserving historical and emulsion based photography and the photographic arts.

Individual $50/year

- 10% discount* on Center for Alternative Photography Workshops, private tutorials, and Penumbra Tintype

   Portrait Session.

- Pre-notification of new or upcoming workshops before they are posted to general public for advanced

  registration.

- Advance notification for special events, programs, and openings, including lecture series, artist’s talks,

   salons, and master classes.

- Invitations to Members-only exhibition openings.

- 10% discount on LTI/Lightside Photographic Services for film processing (all formats), film scans and contact

   sheets.

- 15% discount off Penumbra Foundation day rate for High-Light Studio rental for personal/artistic use [by

   appointment].

- 15% discount on High-Light Studio equipment rental for personal/artistic use [by appointment].

Student $25/year

- Must provide valid and current student identification card as a full-time student.

- 10% discount* on Center for Alternative Photography Workshops, private tutorials, and Penumbra Tintype

Corporate Partnership $1000

- Free advertising on Penumbra Foundation website and social media pages.

- Professional membership to allocate to one person as you wish per $1000 donation.

Benefactor $2500

- All Professional membership level benefits for one person [as listed above] but with a 25% discount* on

   Center for Alternative Photography Workshops or private tutorials.

- Two additional Professional level memberships to be allocated as you wish for donations of $5000 or above.

- Advance access, notification and priority bookings for special events, programs, and exhibition openings,

   including lecture series, artist’s talks, salons, and master classes.
